Benefits of Omnicam

Comfortable handling
Ergonomic and efficient scanning
The slimline design and the compact camera tip of the Omnicam allow for easy scanning even of the posterior teeth. Both jaws can be scanned ergonomically without having to adjust the natural working posture. Regardless of whether the patient is sitting upright or reclining.
Digital impressions as a continuous video process
Taking a digital impression with Omnicam is a continuous video process. The scanner is removed from the holder and guided closely along the teeth. There is no need for time-consuming preparations in order to attain precise intraoral impressions.

Powder-free scanning
With Omnicam you take coating-free scans of the natural tooth substance and gingiva. While saving you an extra work step, this reduces the learning curve and makes impression-taking even more comfortable and easy.

Fast and precise full-arch scans
The feature “Guided scanning” assists you and your team in creating precise digital impressions of the complete jaw using Omnicam. The software is easy to learn as the feedback function and detailed instructions guide you through the scan. Therefore, impression taking can be easily delegated to your assistant. Your digital data is then rapidly exported to external service providers for aligners or complex laboratory indications.

Precise 3D scans in natural color
Due to the high precision of the 3D model, the preparation margin and the gingiva can be easily distinguished. Therefore, the software subsequently offers an exact definition of the preparation margin.

Shade Detection
This feature allows to determine the color of each tooth based on your scan with Omnicam. Shade detection offers an objective support and more safety in chosing the correct restoration shade.
