CEREC Software

Outstanding restoration proposals and easy operation
Fast and easy designs with the CEREC Software: Thanks to its clear and visually appealing operation, the CEREC Software guarantees intuitive use from the very beginning. Its intelligent automation enables a fast, effortless process. A particular highlight of the CEREC Software is its analysis of the whole scan when calculating the initial proposal, which guarantees highly-esthetical, individual restoration proposals. With the CEREC Software you can be sure to offer your patients the highest quality and aesthetics at all time.
The initial proposal made by the CEREC software is usually so good that I can go straight to production without any further processing
Benefits of the CEREC Software
Outstanding restoration proposals

Biojaw
The absolute highlight of the CEREC software is the unique “Biojaw process”. The software uses a biostatistical procedure to generate a patient-specific initial restoration proposal based on the scanned teeth. In most cases, this proposal can be used to move directly on to the production process.

Ease of use and high degree of automation
The clearly structured, intuitive user interface as well as the feedback and help functions make the learning curve flatter and ensure that the CEREC software can be operated effectively from the start.
Thanks to its many automatisms based on artificial intelligence, the CEREC software works (almost) on its own. Optimally, you just need to check the suggestion of the software in each of the 5 software phases and confirm with a click.

Shade Detection
The function “Shade Detection” offers you objective support in selecting the right tooth shade based on your scan.

Virtual articulator
With the articulator function, you determine both the static and the dynamic contact surfaces and achieve correct functional occlusion. The software shows the complete paths of movement. The instruments allow individual intervention to remove early contacts in the occlusion with a mouse click, as well as the adjustment of the jaw joints to the right and left, applying a variety of parameters. The use of a virtual incisal pin also allows the occlusion to be opened, thus ensuring that the occlusion is blocked for complete restorations.

OraCheck 5
Use your intraoral scanner to monitor intraoral changes with OraCheck 5.
- Available analyses: Volume and distance analysis, section view and tilt analysis.
- OraCheck gives hint on loss of tooth substance such as abrasions, erosions and dental fractures.
- With OraCheck, you can check tooth movement before, during and after a treatment.
Technical documentation
The final restoration in just a few steps
Step 1: Scan
Spare your patients the discomfort of a conventional impression tray. Use CEREC Primescan or CEREC Omnicam for precise 3D images in natural color.
Step 2: Design
After analyzing the complete scan, the CEREC software generates outstanding restoration proposals. This takes you to the production stage faster. You benefit from the simple and visually appealing user interface.
Step 3: Produce
The CEREC grinding and milling unit and CEREC software are optimally matched. Milling/grinding the (solid zirconia) restoration design is extremely precise, giving the restorations smooth surfaces and edges and very fine fissures.
Step 4: Sinter and glaze
Full-contour zirconia restorations are sintered and glazed chairside in the compact CEREC SpeedFire. The induction technology allows unparalleled short sintering and firing times.
